Description
This notification, F1N3BD0139A001, announces the Columbus AFB, MS, 14th Contracting Squadron's intent to issue a solicitation to procure the following: new energy efficient FAA Type L-852T In-Pavement Taxiway Edge Light, LED, Omni directional, 12" diameter fixture (11.25" bolt circle), 6.6A input power qty 30 ea, FAA Type L-852T In-Pavement Taxiway Edge light, LED, Omni directional, 12" diameter fixture (10.25" bolt circle), 6.6A input power qty 84 ea, FAA Type l-861 Elevated Taxiway Edge Light, LED, 14" height, 6.6A input power, qty 677 ea. Cooper Crouse Hinds model part #s 852T412 (A, B) and 8615T2B06614 or equal alternate fixtures from other qualified manufacturers. The equal shall have comparable specifications. All items of the same classification shall be new, identical, complete assembly with all parts. NO installation is necessary. Equipment shall be labeled UL, FM, or ETL. Taxiway edge lights shall emit aviation blue light. The edge light shall meet the requirements of FAA AC 150/5345-46, as applicable for each FAA Type. Contractors will be required to submit their product information that is composed of catalog cut sheets, brochures, circular, specification and/or product data that is sufficient to verify the proposed products are dimensional and direct replacements for the CAFB taxiway lighting circuits without modifications to existing base plates, mounting devices, and wiring where the fixtures will be installed. The solicitation will result in award of a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. FOB: Destination for delivery is Columbus AFB, MS. One site visit will be planned, if needed. The date and time will be posted within the solicitation. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 335122 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition will use Full and Open Competition with a Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business Concerns. The Solicitation will be posted at FedBizOps www.fbo.gov only, on or about 23 Jun 2010 with a tentative due date of 6 July 2010. Interested parties will be solely responsible for monitoring the internet and obtaining the solicitation, and any subsequent amendments or other information and downloading them for their files. Interested parties will need the viewers for Microsoft word (.doc) and Acrobat reader (.pdf) to be able to view the documents. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 and 252.232-7009. The CCR can be accessed at www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. Offerors are advised that failure to register in the CCR database will render your firm ineligible for an award. Offerors must be registered and complete the Offerors Representations and Certifications on the Online Representation & Certification Application (ORCA) homepage at www.bpn.gov/orca prior to any subsequent award. This requirement is funded with American Recovery and Reinvestment Act appropriations, and the reporting requirements are mandatory. The inclusion of requirements to implement the Act, including those for transparency and reporting, are required of the successful offeror. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
