- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), Panama City, Florida intends to purchase the following items on a sole source basis to STIDD Systems, Inc. 220 Carpenter St, Greenport, NY 11944-1406: eight (8) each Arm Upholstery (P/N 801-7-302), seven (7) each Side Hip Bolster Upholstery (P/N 810-7-301-L), one (1) each Neoprene Bellows (P/N V12/UB1.375X10.00), three (3) each Arm Upholstery (P/N 801-7-302), six (6) each Arm Sub-Assembly (P/N 810-1-091-R), ten (10) each Cres Lap Belt (P/N V15/890-A (52")), seven (7) each Recline Lock Assembly (P/N 810-1-075-V5), and six (6) each Footrest Gas Spring (P/N V10/GS-8-2.25-90-SS). These items have been tested and certified and approved for "Navy Use," therefore to ensure operational capability and compatibility with other components, this requirement is to be purchased on a sole source basis to STIDD Systems, Inc. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Special Boat Unit Twelve MKV Operations, 3402 Tarawa Road, San Diego, CA 92155-5003. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336611, FSC code is 2540. The request for quote will be issued on 02 August 2010. The Department of Defense will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Registration may be accomplished by accessing the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov/.
