- The purpose of this announcement is to provide notice that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Division of Contracting and General Services, Albuquerque, New Mexico intends to make a firm fixed price, sole source award to CLS America, Washington D.C. for ARGOS data downloads. Downloads will come from ARGOS enabled radios that are manufactured with a chip that only CLS America's satellite can communicate with. The date collected will aid in the additional monitoring of mottled ducks on the Texas Chenier Plain Complex and surrounding private lands. CLS America is the only provider of ARGOS data to North American customers. This announcement is published as a Sole Source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for competitive quotes. The intent of this Pre-Solicitation Notice is for informational purposes only.
