- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division intends to modify, on a sole source basis, the scope of an existing option under contract N00167-09-C-0006 with Oregon Iron Works (OIW), 9700 S.E. Lawnfield Road, Clackamas, OR 97015. The original option was to incorporate SEALION II lessons learned into SEALION I. The modification to the option incorporates additional SEALION II lessons learned not originally included at time of contract award. The current period of performance of this option is from the date the option is exercised through twenty four (24) months thereafter. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received prior to the closing date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
