- Description
- This is a set aside for SBA 8(a) vendors located within the New Mexico District only. Only offers from certified SBA 8(a) vendors located within the New Mexico SBA district will be accepted. This is a Design-Build/ Construction Contract for the Magdalena Ranger District Office, Warehouse, Fire and Shop Buildings in Magdalena, New Mexico. The work includes, but is not limited to labor, supervision, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to perform new construction, repair, alteration, and related demolition of existing infrastructure based on Design-Build (full plans and specifications) for construction of office, warehouse, fire and shop buildings within the State of New Mexico for the USDA Forest Service, Southwest Regional Office, Cibola National Forest. In support of the design portion of the work, the Contractor shall employ the services of a state of New Mexico registered architect/engineering professional experienced in the coordination of multi-disciplined architectural/engineering design efforts in all aspects of general building and new and renovation projects. This procurement consists of one solicitation with the intent of awarding a Firm Fixed-Price Design/Build contract. The scope of work will include the requirement to gain a Leeds Silver Certification for energy efficiency. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 236220 and the annual size standard is $33.5 million. The proposed contract is limited to SBA 8(a) vendors located within the New Mexico SBA district only. The solicitation utilizes source selection procedures, which require Offerors to submit a technical and price proposal for evaluation by the Government. The Government's estimate for this solicitation is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Solicitation issue date will be approximately August 14, 2010.
