- RFQ PIFSCJ-10-RQ-1135 SOW This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is subject to full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 541720 The office of NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service, Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center located in Honolulu, HI has a requirement for the coordination of a deep-setting longline experiment with alternative circle hooks with the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center (PIFSC). With two different circle hooks deployed, the longline experiment strives to estimate the effects on target catches of bigeye tuna. The period of performance is asap upon award with work conclude within 90 days of award. Work shall be conducted with the Hawaii lonling tuna fishery. See attached statement of work for further details. All responses must be in writing and sent via email to Julie.Whitaker@noaa.gov or faxed attention to Julie Whitaker at (808) 983-2900. This is a simplified acquisition estimated value not to exceed $100,000.00. The Western Regional Acquisition Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) as of October 1, 2003. After this date, NO award can be made unless the vender is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http://www.ccr.gov. In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number.
