- Description
- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Weather Service (NWS) has a requirement for GP-26 (General Purpose - 26 km) Aerological Sounding Balloons for the NWS upper air network. Solicitation Number DG133W-10-RP-0164 will be issued on or about August 12, 2010 and will close on or about September 13, 2010. The Government intends to make one or more fixed price awards on an Indefinite Quantity basis with an ordering period of at least 16 months. The minimum ordering quantity for all awards combined will be at least 12,000 GP-26 balloons. The maximum delivery rate for all awards combined will be 8000 GP-26 balloons per month. The Government will not unilaterally require deliveries to commence sooner than 2 months after placement of an order. The destination for deliveries will be the National Logistics Support Center in Kansas City, Missouri. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
