- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-West, Presidio of Monterey has a new requirement to re-lamp all exterior lighting in the Leymel Hall compound. Presently over half the exterior lighting is inoperative and safety and security is minimal. There are numerous pole mounted lights with individual photo cells that require lift trucks to replace. The requirement, where possible, is to link systems into circuits to enable one photo cell to cover a range of pole lighting or exterior building lighting. When this project is completed all exterior lighting will be upgraded and all labor and work will be warranted for a period of one year. Solicitation number W9124N-10-T-0114 will be available on or about 10 Aug 2010. A SITE VISIT is scheduled for 17 Aug 2010 at 9:00 AM (PST). Site Visit location is: Leymel Hall, 910 W. Kearney Blvd, Fresno, CA 93706. The primary Site Visit POC is Steve Gueck at Office:(916)386-6463, Cell:(916) 233-6865. Alternate Site Visit POC: Floyd Reed at 650-965-4393. Proposals are due 24 August 2010 at 2:30 pm (PST). This acquisition is a 100 percent set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238990 with a size standard of $14.0M. Performance period is 120 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Payment and performance bonds are required for this project and must be submitted within fifteen days after contract award. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. Solicitation number W9124N-10-T-0114 will be available on or about 10 Aug 2010 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (http://www.fbo.gov) and the Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/). Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database (www.ccr.gov), prior to award of a government contract.
