- McGuire Air Force Base intends to award a sole source purchase order on or about 30 Jul 10 to the New York Islanders hockey team to include the following: presenting sponsor of the power play for all regular season home games during the 2010-2011 season to include PA announcement and exposure on 700 ft LED halo, main and upper scoreboard signage for at least 10 seconds at the start of the power play; one kiosk on the Nassau Coliseum concourse for six select season New York Islanders home games during 2010-2011 season once per month to include autographed items to be used as raffle items; fifty group tickets to be provided in conjunction with swear in ceremony during the intermission of a NY Islanders home game. During the ceremony the main scoreboard will broadcast US Air Force logo on halo surround vision, upper main scoreboard and have a PA announcement.
