- This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for the (REPLACEMENT) of Doppler Velocity Logger (DVL) for the Seabed Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV). The existing DVL on the AUV is this same make and model. This model is the only one that is already integrated with the other sensors on the AUV and will fit in the same location on the AUV and can be attached using the same bolt pattern. 1 WHN1200K3 Workhorse Navigator Doppler Velocity Log; 1200KHz, 3000m Depth Rated 1WHNCP Water Current Profiling Upgrade 1 WHNBT7 Bottom Mode 7 Low Altitude Bottom Tracking (Available ONLY for the WHN1200 Series) 1 WHNPRES Integrated Pressure Sensor 1 WHSPARES Spare Part and Tool Kit This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written quotes on RFQ Number NFFP7410-10-18305. All responses must be in writing and may be faxed to 206-526-6025 or email (melvin.n.fondue@noaa.gov). This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000. **** The Westren Regional Acquisition Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office be registered with the Central Contractor Registey (CCR) as of October 1, 2003. After this date, NO award can be made unless the vendor is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http//www.ccr.gov. In order to register with CCR and be eligible to receive an award from this Acquisition Office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUN).
