- The Internal Revenue Service intends to make an award to Forum Systems, Inc., 233 Needham Street, Suite 250, Newton, MA 02464, for Annual Premium Maintenance and Support for IRS MeF Project under the authority of FAR Subpart 12.6. This Covers Support of eight (8) Forum Sentry XML Gateways in the MeF Production Environment under the authority of 41 USC 253(c)(1). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541511 Custom Computer Programming Services. This requirement will be made on a sole source basis under the guidelines of the above mentioned authority that Forum XML Systems hardware, software and maintenance being proprietary to one manufacturer. The requirement will be fulfilled by the delivery of Annual software maintenance. Period of Performance is from date of award – September 17, 2011with four (4) one-year option periods through September 16, 2015. The Forum Systems, Inc., software is already installed and operating in the IRS environment as described above. It would be too costly to procure new software, install and test the software, and have it operational to support daily workloads. All products/services must be in compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. The following standards and provisions apply for Section 508 Determination: IRSAP 1052.239-9008 – Section 508 Information, Documentation, and Support (Sept 2006) and IRSAP 1052.239–9009 – Section 508 Conformance (Sep 2006).
