- RECOVERY PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS BEING PROCURED THROUGH A NATIVE AMERICAN HUBZone 8(A) DIRECT AWARD. In accordance with the Small Business Administration 8(a) program, and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.8; The Office of Purchasing and Contracts, Clinical Center (CC), National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to make a direct award to Native American certified 8(a) firm Federal Program Integrators, Indian Island, ME. This acquisition is to provide the CC, PET Department with a state-of-the-art Positron Emission Tomography, Computed Tomography (PET/CT) scanner and associated turn-key design/build installation. This project will be funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and is subject to the reporting requirements of the act. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System code 334510, with an employee size standard of 500. The Government anticipates that there will be one (1) contract awarded for this requirement. The proposed delivery and installation period is two (2) years from the date of the award. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS, NOR IS A SOLICITATION AVAILABLE.
