- The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with Kimball Furniture CO Verde Office Interiors for the procurement of the following products and services: 1. Purchase Kimball furniture parts to attach onto existing furniture and office reconfiguration with full installation. MFR: Kimball Furniture CO Verde Office Interiors This requirement is conducted under FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement." This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit a capability statement of your firm's ability to provide an equivalent supply/service. All interested firms must respond to this synopsis by Friday, July 30 2010, 1:00 PM MST to Branden Reagan, 355th Contracting Squadron, 3180 S Craycroft Rd. Tucson, AZ 85707. Responses received will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
