- Description
- The work of this project consists of converting two traffic lights, each with a red and green light to LED lamps with appropriate lens assemblies and providing and installing two light fixtures for the security camera illumination. The fixture is similar to one for a garage with a motion detector for activation. Add a light switch for the existing interior lights. In addition, provide power (208V single phase at 30 amps) and alarm circuits from the West building to the garage via new underground conduit. Provide outlets, six new lights with a switch for the new lights. The installation of conduits will require excavating and patching the roadway. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation will be available on or about 12 August 2010 and will be available for downloading by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov) which links to the FedTeds website (see below). Prospective contractors are required to self register their firm on the Internet to receive this solicitation. Registration instructions are available on the internet at https://www.fedteds.gov. Amendments, if any, will be available at this Internet site. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests will be accepted. Registrants are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registration list. This procurement is set aside for SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES only. The applicable NAICS code is 238210 with a Small Business Size Standard of $14,000,000. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the New England District.
