- In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration Acquisition Management System (FAA AMS) paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the FAA's intent to contract with a selected firm using single source procedures. A competitive solicitation will not be available for this procurement. The FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center intends to award a single contract to GD California. The contract will be for 258 MVME 2700-1461 Power PC processor boards (Part Number 0721461) based on the Motorola MVME2700-1461 design that includes the following:1) 366 Mhz processor speed2) G06 CPU date code or greater3) 256 Mb DRAM Memory Mezzanine Board4) 9 Mb Flash5) 761 I/O6) Floppy Controller 7) PCI Mezzanine Slot Any/all questions or concerns should be directed to Harry.Lutz@faa.gov.
