- PR 0026694085. Request for Proposal SPM4A6-10-R-1024, will be solicited for award of a Firm Fixed Priced Contract for NSN 5855-01-006-4221, Cell Assembly, Optic. This NSN is a non commercial, part numbered item and the approved source is L3 Communications/CAGE 55311, P/N 209950-100. This solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis utilizing other than full and open competition. The purchase request quantity is 271 each. Quantity variance is plus/minus 0%. Delivery: FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. The required delivery is 68 DARO. This is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI) per SAP interrogation on July 27, 2010. The final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of price and past performance. A Small Business Subcontracting plan is not required as the dollar threshold has not been met. EEO clearance is not required as the dollar threshold has not been met. Certified Cost or Pricing data is not required. Progress Payments are not included as the conditions at FAR 32.501-2(c) have not been met. The synopsis was posted to Federal Business Opportunities on July 28, 2010. The solicitation issue date is August 12, 2010. The closing date is September 13, 2010. The estimated award date is October 22, 2010.
