- Description
- This project consists of fabricating 3 new steel work barges. One barge for Lock and Dam 12, 401 North Riverview Street, Bellevue, Jackson County, Iowa. One barge for Lock and Dam 13, 4999 Lock Road, Fulton, Whiteside County, Illinois. One barge for Lock and Dam 22, 13556 Highway E., RR#2 Box 221, New London, Missouri. A work barge is used as a working platform maintenance and inspections of lock and dam facilities. The dimensions of the vessel shall be 38 feet long by 14 feet wide by 3 feet deep. The stern of the vessel shall also include a transom for mounting an outboard motor to power the vessel. The barge shall be well balanced, water tight, and be suitable for use on the Upper Mississippi River.
