- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to BioTek, P.O. Box 998, Highland Park, Winooski, VT 05404-0998 for three ELX405RS Plate Washer 96W Robot US, Elx405 Microplate Washers with Ultrasonic Advantage, 96-well washing, which features 75 user-definable programs and includes a built-in ultrasonic cleaner. These units have an option for magnetic beads, and are compatible with biotek Plate Stackers already in use in the laboratory for high-throughput testing. Purchase will also included a complete dispense/waste system 115V; installation and setup; a Magnet Dexter 96F; and one ELX405RSM Plate Washer 96W Robot US, Elx405 Microplate Washer with Ultrasonic Advantage, 96-well washing, which features 75 user-definable programs and includes a built-in ultrasonic cleaner and magnetic plate, also compatible with exisiting BioStack units, and installation. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
