- Request for Proposal for all materials, labor, tools and equipment for removal and replacement of two window units, repair nine window units and remove old glazing and re-glaze 16 windows on the Truman Farm Home located in Grandview, MO. This project is solicited in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program Act of 1988, Public Law 100-656 and is set-aside to an emerging small business. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238350. Small business size standard is $14M. Cost range is below $25,000. Type of award will be a firm-fixed price construction. Davis-Bacon Act for wage determinations will apply. The solicitation along with attachments and any amendments will be issued electronically and downloaded at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on 07/27/2010. No hard copies will be issued. A site visit is scheduled for 08/12/2010, 10:00 AM at the Truman Farm Home, 12301 Blue Ridge Blvd, Grandview, MO. Anticipated period of performance is 60 days. Prospective offers must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov with the required NAICS code and have completed the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov in order to receive a government award.
