- The Finch-Henry Job Corps Center is accepting bids for Low Flow Fixtures Replacement located at 821 Highway 51 South, Batesville, Mississippi. The scope of work involve removing, disposing and replace all faucets, water closets, urinals, shower heads and plumbing fixtures with low flow fixtures at all of the center's toilet rooms located in the Administration and Health Services Building, Cafeteria and Culinary Building, Education/Retail Sales Building, Recreation Center, Magnolia Hall (Female Dormitory), Warehouse, Gymnasium, Security Building, CTS Building, Multi-purpose Building and Indpendent Living (2) trailers. Constractor shall provide construction waste management practices such that at least 50% construction generated waste by weight is diverted from landfills and provided to recycling facilities or salvage of used fixtures where markets exist. Provide verifiable documentation and calculations showing waste destination. Provide low flow fixtures and automatic, sensor operated faucets and flush valves. Provide labels for sensor operators at flush valves and faucets. There will be a Pre-Bid meeting and Walk-through on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Finch-Henry Job Corps Center. The meeting will be held in the conference room of Building #1, Administration/Health Services. All interested vendors must attend the meeting and walk-through in order for the bid to be accepted.
