- This requirement is to purchase: four (4) ea. Assembly, 6 Channel EZ Mate plug to plug, 300 feet Single Mode Mil Cable On AOS 100 Reel with Tri-Pod seven (8) ea. Assembly, 6 Channel Jam EZ- Mate Receptacle to LC 30 foot length with single mode mil cable. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, award is expected to be made to Applied Optical Systems. Applied Optical Systems is the original designer and manufacturer of this product and has proprietary rights. The fiber optic assemblies must be interchangeable and compatible to existing equipment. This is not a request for proposals, if there are any other firms who can satisfy this requirement, please respond by 11:00 AM MDT 28 July 2010. No Solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming.
