- The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to enter into a sole source purchase order with Open Text for renewal of Open Doc software support and maintenance for the following licenses: Lic DOCS Open Client S-DMOOO9021010), and Lic DOCS Open Server (S-DMOOO9031010). The period of performance will be one year with three option years starting on 9/1/2010. Based on recent market research, NRC has not identified any other sources that can provide the required license renewals. However, any sources that can provide evidence of their capability to provide the required may do so by submitting that evidence to annaleigh.turner@nrc.gov by August 10, 2010. This is not a request for competitive proposals. Requests for copies of this solicitation will not be honored unless the respondent provides evidence showing their capability to perform the required services. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
