- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Leavenworth, intends to issue a solicitation for Network Engineer Support for the C2 DMG and Battle Command Systems Integration courses. The Collective Training Directorate conducts two Battle Command courses: Command and Control Digital Master Gunner (C2DMG) Course and Battle Command Systems Integration Course (BCSIC). The C2 DMG course is taught to NCOs and officers and focused on Tactical Battle Command (TBC) client (CPOF / MCS). The BCSIC is a course taught to NCOs and officers assigned to a command post. It teaches how to set up and facilitate network connectivity integration between battle command (BC) systems and the Tactical Battle Command (TBC) system. Due to the complexity of the network, the Collective Training Directorate (CTD) requires Network Engineer support to maintain the complex network of these systems. The overall scope of this procurement will include the following: The contractor shall maintain the Battle Command (BC) network. This includes system setup, installation, software management, maintenance, implementation of patches, problem resolution, new technologies, security, disk management, system backup and recovery, creation and maintenance of user accounts, monitoring system utilization and functionality, creation and assignment of printer definitions, creation and maintenance of user groups and file structure, creation and maintenance of login scripts, creation and maintenance of network shared data resources, creation and maintenance of workstations within the domain and maintenance of the network backbone connectivity. The Government anticipates a solicitation release date on or about August 12, 2010 through Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) website. A single award of a Firm Fixed-Price contract is anticipated and award will be made to the offeror who provides a proposal that best meets the Governments requirement. All requirements, evaluation criteria, basis for contract award and proposal due date will be provided as part of the solicitation. The anticipated period of performance will consist of a one year base period. This procurement is set-aside 100% for Small Business concerns only; under NAICS Code 541513, and who meet the small business size standard of $25 Million gross annual receipts. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available at the Government wide Point of Entry at http://www.fbo.gov/ and https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Requests for printed copies of the solicitation will not be accepted.
