The Contractor shall also be responsible for providing yearly monitoring of the Fire Alarm Systems. The Contractor shall be responsible for the management, operational condition, preventive maintenance and repair of all Siemens' systems, controllers, valves and any other parts made or supplied by Siemens within our facility to factory standards. The Contractor is responsible for insuring that all systems covered in this contract operate as designed. Systems included in the contract include HVAC Control Systems, AFFF Fire Suppression Control Systems, Fire Alarm & Life Safety Systems, and any other automated control system controlled by Siemens' Automation Control Systems, controllers or valves. The Contractor will also provide Technical Support Services on the Siemens' Automated Control Systems. This contract will be inclusive of all Siemens' branded Fire and Automation System Devices. When system or part failures occur, the Contractor shall respond with qualified personnel at our facility within four (4) hours for critical components, twenty four (24) hours a day every day. For non-emergency technical problems or for non-critical components, the Contractor will have qualified personnel at our facility within eight (8) hours 24x7, and provide 365 days a year service. This contract also provides for an 8hr. day, one technician, once a month service call to monitor and evaluate system performance. See the Statement of work for exact details. The reason for the sole source award is due to the complexity and proprietary nature of the Siemens' computerized automated control systems, i.e. HVAC, AFFF Fire System, and Facility Fir and Life Safety System. They are the only company capable of providing the Siemens proprietary parts and certified Siemens technicians to correct programming problems within the Siemens proprietary software programs that monitor and control the systems listed above. If your company feels that they can perform the work associated with the statement of work for this requirement please send an email to the contract specialist by the response deadline listed with this posting. Please make sure to include a capabilities statement with the email explain how your company can meet the requirements.
