- The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Base, Hawaii intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order to Trusted Systems, Incorporated; 86 York St, STE 3; Taneytown, MD 21787-2159 for the following items. CLIN 0001: Incognito Executive ISP Container, QTY: 1 each. CLIN 0002: SIPR/NIPR KVM Switch, USB, 2 Port, QTY: 2 each. CLIN 0003: KVM Guard On/Off Gateway Package, QTY: 1 each. CLIN 0004: Etherguard VTC On/Off Gateway, QTY: 1 each. CLIN 0005: Delivery & Installation (zip code 96861). Trusted Systems has been the pioneer and industry leader in the design and development of the IPS Security Container since 1992. Although the product is derived from the GSA Class 5 Map & Plan Container in terms of construction, materials, door and lock assemblies; it has been specially adapted to the protection of information assets for classified network applications. The IPS Security Container has been designed to satisfy a wide variety of applications with modular options for cooling, cable routing, and rack mounting of equipment. Therefore, each IPS Container must be uniquely configured for each location and each application. Once deployed, the IPS Security Container is solely responsible for the protection and reliable operation of the electronic equipment it harbors in closed door, unattended environments. It must be correctly configured, installed and supported without compromise. It is a specialized product and application process. The application and engineering expertise provided by Trusted Systems is based on 23 years field experience and hundreds of installations. It makes the product and support package offered by Trusted Systems the oldest and still the only one of its kind in the security industry, and thus, sole source justified. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b). The anticipated award date is 3 Aug 2010. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
