- Description
- The Government intends to modify an existing corporate contract SP0400-03-D-9404 in order to add commercial, sole source items which are currently active under General Electric Corporate Contract #SPM400-00-D-9403, which was originally solicited under Solicitation # SP0400-00-R-0626. DSCR has identified 1,525 items for potential incorporation / migration into this contract. As stated above, the items that will be added to Corporate Contract SP0400-03-D-9404 are sole source to GEAE. This effort will be issued on the basis of other than full and open competition under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c )(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This acquisition is restricted to the only source of supply known to have the capability or approval to furnish the required spare parts, GEAE (Cage Codes 99207 and 07482). This is not a formal request for proposal under FAR Part 12, 15, or an Invitation for Bids under FAR Part 14. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other costs incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the government. General Electric is the only known source of supply, and the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Alternate offers must submit a complete technical data package for each NSN for approval in order to be considered for award.
