OF 612 - Optional Application for Federal Employment Form AID1420-17 - Contractor Employee Biographical Data Sheet Solicitation # SOL-660-10-000009 - Extractive Industries Technical Advisor SOLICITATION NUMBER:SOL-660-10-000009 ISSUANCE DATE:July 19, 2010 RFP CLOSING DATE/TIME:August 4, 2010, 4.00PM Nairobi, Kenya Time POSITION TITLE:Extractive Industries Technical Advisor MARKET VALUE: Equivalent to GS-14 or GS-15; US$84,697 - US$129,517 per year. Final compensation will be based upon the candidate's past salary, work history and educational background PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Initially two years PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Kinshasa, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). There will be travel requirements to areas heavily affected by extractive industries such as Katanga, Orientale, North Kivu and South Kivu provinces The Extractive Industries Technical Advisor will take the lead in coordinating all aspects of strategic planning, activity design, program implementation, monitoring and evaluation for the extractive industries program. It is envisioned that in implementing the major duties and responsibilities outlined below, the incumbent will spend a maximum percent of his/her time on USAID/DRC's efforts to research, program, and implement activities that address major causes of in the conflict/illict natural resource commodities trade.
