- This is a DRAFT RFQ for the following requirement. Background: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Information & Technology (OI&T) has a requirement for furniture including offices, cubicles, and conference room tables being acquired in the Silver Spring, MD area. The Contractor shall provide all resources necessary including equipment, labor, material, installation etc., for the deliverables described in the Statement of Work (SOW), except as may otherwise be specified. Scope: The VA's Office of Information & Technology has approximately 47,383 usable square feet of office space located in the Silver Spring, MD area. There is existing furniture in these locations; however, it will require removal and new furniture purchased and installed. The final furniture layout designed by the contractor with Government input will be agreed on by both parties. There will be minor construction in this location which will require phasing the furniture delivery and setup. On Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 10:30 am EST a recommended site visit is scheduled. Questions for this draft RFQ are due by Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 3:00 pm EST.
