Description
This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13 and NAVSUPP 4200.85D.THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICATION for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M0026310T0041 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-44 and DFARS Publication 20100713. This solicitation is issued for 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 488410 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition is for the procurement of towing and minor repair services for up to 183 school buses, (1) mid-size car, and (1) box truck (3-ton) during the Hurricane Season.. The Period of Performance will be for a period of 5 years. It is the Government's intent to award multiple BPA's. All applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses are contained in Solicitation M0026310T0041 which can be found in the Statement of Work, attached. Quoters responding to this announcement shall submit their quotations in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Sub part 13.5.Submission of quotes shall include the following:1)Identification of services being quoted2)Price: all pricing quoted shall be FOB Destination. The basis for award is Best Value. The criteria for evaluation in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 are: 1) Most Advantageous and 2) Price. Additionally successful awardees shall have satisfactory past performance. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered by the agency. It is the intent of the Government to issue multiple awards. Any/all questions on this RFQ shall be received by this office by 21 July 2010 at 1630 PM EST. The closing date and time for this solicitation is 26 July 2010 at 16:30 PM (EST). Quoters are responsible for ensuring that their submitted quote has been received and is legible. Failure to ensure that your quote has been received by the government will not be reason to accept a late quote.
