- PRESOLICITATION NOICE - ARMORED CAR SERVICE Provide a committed source to provide armored car services to transport cash for Agent Cashier and VA Canteen Service at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana. The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, supplies, transportation, insurance and equipment to provide armored care service five days per week, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays and any other day declared a holiday by the President of the United States The VAMC is contemplating a firm-fixed price contract for a period of one year plus four one-year option periods to begin service on October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2010. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. All offerors must be registered in VETBIZ at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov and a CCR http://www.ccr.gov under NAICS __561613_ to be eligible for award. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). Solicitation No._VA-256-10-RQ-0369__________ will be issued as a RFP on or about July 22, 2010 and the approximate proposal due date is August 6, 2010. You must register as "Interested Vendor" at the fedbizopps website for solicitation. In order to receive e-mail notification of amendments, you must register in fedbizopps "To Receive Notification".
