- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items authorized under Subpart 13.5 and prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number, N68335-10-T-0137, is issued as a competitive Request for Quote (RFQ). All laboratory casework (cabinets, drawers, cupboards, shelves, columns) shall be heavy gauge steel full-frame construction, manufactured of prime grade, cold-rolled, U.S. Standard sheet steel with no ragged edges. Cabinets are phosphate-coated with a baked, chemical-resistant, powder-coat finish. Color shall be light neutral. Cabinet height (cabinet only) shall be between 35 to 36 inches. Cabinets shall also come with adjuster feet for further height and leveling adjustments. Cabinet depth (cabinet only) shall be between 21 to 23 inches. Design shall be square edge with inset doors and drawers having rounded aluminum pulls. No recessed pulls shall be used. Drawer fronts and doors shall be double-walled. All drawers shall have full extension ball-bearing drawer slides. Photo's and a detailed description, to included specifications and dimensions, shall be included in the offeror's quote. The following Hazmat requirements must be met for item number four (4) above: Safely store and vent solvents and other highly flammable liquids. Dual-wall white epoxy-coated steel construction with 3.8cm (11/2") air gap for complete protection. Equipped with three-point locking handle, rear vent outlets with flame arresters and closure plugs, dished epoxy-coated steel shelf, and leveling legs. Include one 20.3cm (8") filler panel to increase cabinet's overall depth from 55.9cm (22") to 76.2cm (30"), for installation flush to wall. Top of cabinet is enclosed to trap fumes and fulfill regulations for the storage of flammable solvents. Meet OSHA and NFPA standards for hazardous material storage cabinets. Offerors must be able to satisfy the total quantity of all the items listed above. Removal and disposal of the existing casework that is being replaced by the items listed above shall be included in the total overall price. Installation shall be included in the overall price of items. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination. Inspection and Acceptance is Destination Lakehurst. The NAICS code associated with this requirement is 337127.
