- The VA Medical Center White River Junction, Vermont, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with CareFusion Solutions LLC for an Alaris Systems Manager package with server and wireless support for existing Point of Care Units. It is necessary to purchase this system for the continuity of wireless support for PCUs. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All proposals received by 4:30 P.M. Eastern Time, August 21st, 2010, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice is subject to availability of funds. Please note that this is not a Request for Proposal and does not constitute a solicitation or a commitment by the Government to later publish a solicitation. This announcement is not a request for competitive quotations. No solicitation document is available and telephone inquires will not be honored; however interested parties may submit literature detailing how their services meet the VA requirements to the Purchasing Agent. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries will only be accepted in writing by mail, or by facsimile at (802) 296-5103.
