- RCO Livorno Sub-Office is issuing this notice to solicit industry interest in the following project. The purpose of this notice is to advertise the forthcoming solicitation to the maximum number of offerors. PROJECT NUMBER AND TITLE: EA 00494-9, DEMOLITION OF BUILDINGS WITH ASBESTOS CONTAINING MATERIAL, AMMUNITION STORAGE AREA, USAG LIVORNO, ITALY DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: The project consists in the demolition of six masonry buildings, the roofs of which are made of asbestos containing material. The buildings are in different locations in the Ammunition Storage Area and in various conditions of maintenance. WORK CATEGORY: Contractor is required to be registered in the: Albo Nazionale Gestori Ambientali, Category 10B FUNDING: The project is funded. LOCATION OF THE WORK: The site of the proposed work is Camp Darby, Ammunition Storage Area, Livorno, Italy. MAGNITUDE OF THE PROJECT: The magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $500,000. The amounts indicated are estimated. METHOD OF CONTRACTING: This will be a Request for Proposals (RFP) resulting in a firm fixed price contract. PERFORMANCE PERIOD: The project shall be completed within 180 calendar days after the resulting Contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP). SITE VISIT: The site visit will be held on 16 August 2010 at 9:00 hrs MEETING POINT FOR THE SITE VISIT: Front Gate, Camp Darby MISCELLANEOUS: The solicitation package, including the technical specifications, description of the work, drawings and all additional information, free of charge, will be posted on ASFI, https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ HOW TO PARTICIPATE: In order to participate all interested parties are invited to indicate their interest by submitting a written request not later than 2 August 2010 to the following e-mail address: judy.biboum@eur.army.mil. Please indicate in your e-mail the solicitation number (W912PF-10-R-0035) and the name of the company, the address, the phone number and fax and your e-mail address. Please indicate also the name of the person will be present at the site visit: first name, last name, date of birth, place of birth, type and number of identification document.
