Description

Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract Action. The Louisville District Corps of Engineers intends to sole source a requirement for a Notifier Fire Alarm and Mass Notification System for a project at the Homestead Air Reserve Base in Florida for the Design/Bid/Build of a New Troop Feeding Facility and Community Activity Center. The Request for Proposal No. for the Homestead ARB project is W912QR-10-R-0059 and is scheduled to issue on 20 July 2010. The NAICS code for this requirement is 236220. This announcement is for informational purposes only. No solicitation is available for the sole source item. This is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, all responses received within fifteen (15) calendar days of the date of this publication will be considered by the Government. Information received will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to compete the requirement. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
