Description

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to Sequoia Scientific, Inc in Bellevue, Washington for one LISST-HOLO Submersible Digital Holographic Camera to be delivered to Woods Hole, MA. by September 16, 2010. A.) Sequoia Scientific, Inc is the only known source for this requirement because the proposed contractor is the only known manufacturer to make a digital holography device for in situ measurements of particles in the water. B.) This is the only known digital holography device capable of profiling and extended deployment in the marine environment. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). FAX response to 703.648.7367 or email jpruitt@usgs.gov. The NAICS code is 541712. The anticipated award date of the contract is 7/23/2010. A vendor must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov to be awarded the contract.
