- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes shall be submitted electronically to Dorothy.Dailey@US.Army.mil and are due by Tuesday, 29 June 2010 at 3:00 p.m. MST. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-42. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 335911(Storage Batteries Manufacturing) with a business standard of 500 employees. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. Please provide a quote for the following: CLIN 0001: 60 each UPS System Battery; CLIN 0002: 15 each 30MF A/C output capacitor (microfarad); CLIN 0003: 15 each 40MF A/C output capacitor (microfarad); CLIN 0004: 6 each 40MF A/C input capacitor CLIN 0005: Installation and Testing; CLIN 0006: Disposal. The current batteries used in the UPS system are manufactured by Discover with Model #DT12-3500. The capacitors are manufactured by Liebert. The proposal must be name brand or equal to the current items in use for compatibility of use with the UPS system.
