- Sole Source Justification The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to make a sole source award for legal services. The Office of the General Counsel (OGC) requires the services of a senior attorney to handle a remanded arbitration involving employment and civil rights claims filed against PBGC. This matter is part of a case that has been ongoing for eight (8) years (see the attached Sole Source Justification). This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), but a Notice of Intent. An RFP will not be issued. Interested parties may, however, request further information (no later than 1:00 pm, Eastern Time, July 22, 2010) by email to Patrick McFarlane at mcfarlane.patrick@pbgc.gov
