- Davis Bacon Wage Rates Drawings Construction and Material Specifications Solicitation Package - bid schedule, clauses and provisioins Bid Form - SF 1442 - Solicitation, Offer and Award The USDA NRCS in New York is preparing to issue a solicitation for work authorized under the Emergency Watershed Protection Program due to recent heavy rain with resultant flooding conditions. This streambank stabilization work is to relieve imminent hazards to life and property. The work consists of site dewatering, debris removal, channel clearing, installation of approximately 175 linear feet of slope rock riprap, two (2) rock stream barbs (deflectors) and seeding and plantings to stabilize the stream bed and banks along Eighteenmile Creek in the Town of Boston, Erie County, New York. Alternative payment protection in the amount of 50% of contract amount in the form of a payment bond or an irrevocable letter of credit will be required within 5 calendar days of award of contract. The location of the work sites will be within the flooded areas and as described in the solicitations. All necessary permits and land rights have been acquired. Price Range is between $25,000 - $100,000 Maximum performance time will be 8 calendar days A firm-fixed price award is anticipated under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The solicitation package, construction drawings and specifications will be posted and available from this site on July 20, 2010. Anticipated date for bid opening will be on August 5, 2010. A pre-bid site showing is scheduled for Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 2:30 p.m.. Meet at pull-off on Back Creek Road near 8424 Back Creek Road.
