- Description
- The Western Montana Acquisition Zone, Missoula, MT is issuing Solicitation AG-03R6- S-10-0065 for Winter Pasture for Government-owned Forest Service Stock for the Spotted Bear Ranger District on the Flathead National Forest, Kalispell, MT. The pasture provided would be in a radius of 100 miles from Kalispell, MT. The estimated amount of stock is 70-80 mules and horses. The period of performance is November 1, 2010 – May 31, 2011 with one year option for renewal of contract. All animals will be boarded December, 2010 – April, 2011. The Contractor would provide winter pasture, hay and salt. Supplemental feed would be provided for 5-10 animals. Before award the Forest Service will inspect the pasture area for fencing and hazardous conditions.
