- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services and mental health treatment services, within the following geographic parameters: HWY 91 to the North, HWY 55 to East, HWY 22 to the South, and Valley View Street to the West in Orange County, California and accessible to local public transportation. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period estimated to begin on October 1, 2010 with four (4) one-year option periods, with service ending (if all options years are renewed) on September 30, 2015. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. Base Year: Estimated number of inmates 35: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 5 inmates = 5 Assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) 48 units (per inmate) x 35 Inmates = 1680 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 35 Inmates = 2,520 sessions; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 35 Inmates = 420 sessions; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 5 Inmates = 5 Reports; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 5 inmates = 5 Evaluations; Mental Health Individual Counseling 12 units per inmate for 10 inmates = 120 units; Mental Health Group Counseling 24 units per inmate for 10 inmates = 240 units; Medication Monitoring 6 report per inmate for 10 inmates = 60 Monitorings. Option Year Four: Estimated number of inmates 45: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 10 inmates = 10 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) 48 units (per inmate) x 45 Inmates = 2160 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 45 Inmates = 3,240 sessions; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 45 Inmates = 540 sessions; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 6 Inmates = 6 Reports; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 11 inmates = 11 Evaluations; Mental Health Individual Counseling 12 units per inmate for 15 inmates = 180 units; Mental Health Group Counseling 24 units per inmate for 15 inmates = 360 units; Medication Monitoring 6 report per inmate for 15 inmates = 90 Monitorings. The services shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated June 2010. The request for quotation will be available on or after August 2, 2010 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions.
