- ERDC Contracting Office intends to solicit sources and pricing under the authority of FAR 13.500 to BUSBY OFFICE SUPPLY AND PRINTING 526 E COLLEGE ST CLINTON MS 39056-4735, for Custom Funiture. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures --- only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than Wednesday, 28 July 2010 - 11:00 A.M. CDST. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Interested parties may submit quotes for consideration by the Government to amanda.andrews@usace.army.mil. Please use solicitation number referenced in the subject line. The renovation of Room 1340 requires custom furniture to meet the 'war room' configuration required by the Computational Science and Engineering Division, Information Technology Laboratory. The furniture requires specific modifications to accommodate the audio/visual equipment purchased in a previous contact. The sole source selection is justified under the 'unicity' criteria set for under the FAR 6.302-1. Busby Office Supply and CCN INTERNATIONAL (GSA #GS-28F-0017R) are the slected vendors to ensure compatibility of the established furniture requirements/standards established within the Information Technology Laboratory, Engineer Research and Development Center, US Army Corps of Engineers.
