- Commercial Supply with Non-Personal Services. Contractor shall provide Marine Corps Deployable Warehouse Storage Cube Boxes to be delivered to Fort Sill, Oklahoma. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) 321920, Wood Container and Pallet Manufacturing are applicable to this acquisition. The applicable size standard is 500 employees. This proposed acquisition is set aside for 100% small business. This solicitation will result in a firm-fixed price contract when awarded. The Government will evaluate offers in response to this request and award a purchase order/contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to this request, and will be most advantageous to the Government considering price and other factors (e.g., past performance, delivery, socio-economic status and/or quality). Award will be made based upon the best value to the Government in accordance with procedures in FAR 13.106-2(b). Award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract will be contemplated. Supply/services will be procured pursuant to the regulatory direction of FAR Part 13.5 Test Program For Certain Commercial Items. The entire solicitation package will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ and the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at https://acquisition.army.mil. Requests for copies of the solicitation package by any other means will not be honored. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps and/or ASFI websites for the release of the solicitation package or subsequent solicitation amendments. Acknowledgement of any and all amendments is required. The RFQ will be issued on or about 21 July 2010. The closing date for submission of offers will be 28 July 2010, 4:00 p.m CST. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered. Pursuant to FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Contractors are encouraged to obtain further information on CCR registration at the following website: http://www.ccr.gov/. Representations and certifications must also be on record through ORCA at http://orca.bpn.gov. This announcement does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
