- Contains shipping cities, states, and zip codes (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13.5 and Subpart 12.6 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation that will be issued; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for the requirement is 423430. The size standard for this NAICS code is 500 employees. In order to further the Government policy of maximizing electronic commerce and making the acquisition process optimally cost effective, all future amendments and any other official communications, if any, from the agency regarding this solicitation will be distributed via www.fbo.gov. All questions must be submitted via email, and all questions and answers will be posted to the www.fbo.gov website as an amendment to this RFQ. Quote Validation Date quote must be valid for at least 30 days. Include State Federal Tax Identification (TIN) and Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number(s). (II) The solicitation for commercial items is issued by the U.S. Department of Agriculture/Departmental Management/Management Services/Procurement Operations Division/International Technology Services Contracting Team(ITSCT) on behalf of the U.S. Department of Agriculture/Ofiice of Chief Information Officer/International Technology Services/Technical Support Division(TSD). (III) The solicitation number is AG-3144-S-10-JT01. This number is also used for this Request for Quote (RFQ). The Government may transmit or post any common questions and answers regarding this solicitation to all interested parties. (IV) Documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 05-44. (V) This solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis. (VI) Description of Requirement: Quantity 7,096 of HP Server Hard Drives: This is a "brand name or equal" requirement. Original Manufacturer Part #286712-005, 72.8 GB 10K U320 SCSI HS HDD for HP(Compaq) ML370 servers. It is understood that these drives are no longer being manufactured by the OEM, refurbished drives will be accepted. If "equal" drives are proposed, the vendor is required to submit technical documents that show compatibility with the ML370 server. Drives must be hot swappable, no drives will be traded in for credit, staggered delivery is not acceptable. Warranty: A minimum of 90 day replacement warranty is required. Delivery: There will be approximately 35 shipping locations across the Continental United States(CONUS). Attached are the shipping locations along with estimated quantity of units per site. Final item quantity and full shipping addresses will be provided at the time of award. Delivery is required within 45 days of award issue and are FOB Destination. Quote Submissions: Quotes must include the following information: Part Number and Description; Refurbished or new drives?; Technical documents if proposing "Equal" part; Delivery Schedule after Receipt of Order; Any applicable delivery charges; Warranty information (VII) The following Federal Acquisition Regulations clauses apply to this solicitation and any subsequent award: FAR 52.212-1 -- Instruction to Offerors -- Commercial Items. All offerors are hereby notified that if your proposal is not received by the date/time and at the location specified in this notice announcement, it will be considered late/non-responsive.
