- Signature Page Supercritical Sole Source Justification The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Eastern Regional Research Center, Dairy and Functional Foods (DFF)Unit in Wyndmoor, intends to negotiate solely with Waters Technologies Corporation in Milford, MA, to furnish, deliver (FOB) Destination, one each of a SAS50-1-10VAC- Part # SAS50-1 Base System, SFE Installation and Certification-Part # 741000416, Bath 10L 115V 60Hz Refrigerated & Heated-Part #06679-5, and a Heat Jacket Body Assy 3.00"OD Vessel-Part #WAT098500. If you would like a detailed description of the specifications for the Supercritical Anti-Solvent 50, please contact the point of contact listed in this synopsis. All items quoted shall include shipping costs FOB Destination to Wyndmoor, PA. All quotes shall include delivery dates expressed in days or weeks. The unit will be used for formulations that are designed for the uses for food preservation and protection. Currently, our research involves in the use of many types of volatiles. We have a strategy to solve the problems with the aid of the machine. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 (current as of FAC 2005-41), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS is 334516. The Solicitation number is 104-21 and is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). Companies with the demonstrated capability of providing this equipment must submit a descriptive statement, including descriptive literature, specifically addressing the equipment=s component=s and availability. In the event multiple quotes are received, the quotes will be evaluated on the basis of lowest price, technically acceptable. In order to be considered technically acceptable, the item must meet specifications and compatibility requirements. The statement and literature must be submitted to the Contracting Office Address within 5 days of publication of this notice. This is not a request for proposal. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE.
