- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Portable Shower Rental) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation willnot be issued. The solicitation is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). RFQ #M67399-10-Q-0053 The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are thosein effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-44. This is a restricted purchase set-aside for 100% Small Business Concerns.The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 532490. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this order is 7359.The small business size standards are 7 Million US Dollars. The FederalSupply Classification (FSC) for this order is W085. This solicitation is for the procurement to lease portable showers. Therequirement is listed as follows: CLIN 0001-The government is seeking to lease eighty (80) shower heads with aminimum of one (1) sink (with mirror over sink) per four (4) shower heads.The shower heads will be set up in four (4) separate areas with twenty (20)shower heads and the corresponding number of sinks in each location. Eacharea is approximately 150 yards apart from each other. Showers must haveHVAC and be lighted. Contractor is to provide an adequate number of fresh (potable) and greywater trucks to keep the showers fully functional 24 hours per day. Freshwater is available at the performance location at Water Issue Point 5018only. Grey water is to be dumped at site 3850D which is approximately seven(7) miles from the performance site. The period of performance is 24 July2010 to 15 September 2010. Contractor is NOT authorized to utilize thesewer system or any water source located at Camp Wilson other than theoverhead water sources. Contractor to provide showers, power source,maintenance personnel to clean and service the showers and drivers for thetrucks 24 hours per day. Place of contract delivery will be at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center(MCAGCC)/Marine Corps Air Ground Task Force Training Command (MCAGTFTC),Twenty-nine Palms, CA 92278. The winner of this award is required to be registered with, understand, andinvoice through Wide Area Workflow.
