Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis/ solicitation number is W91ZLK-10-T-0354. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-23. This requirement is a Total Small Business Set Aside. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 314912 and the Business Size Standard is 500. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract. Description of Requirement: MANUFACTURING AND INSTALLING THREE NEW AWNINGS. SCOPE OF WORK FOR AWNINGS FOR BUILDINGS 241, 367, AND 392 Replace existing awnings for buildings 241, 367 and 392 with new awnings. New awnings will require construction of frames, replacement canvas, new lettering, logos, footers, and installment at location. 1. Building 241: Front entrance of building. Frabricate new corrosion resistant zinc galvanized frame (29 x6x3). Frame will be powder coated (color to be selected by purchaser) and covered with canvas cover (brown). Provide right and left side lettering (approx 6 high) U.S. Army Materiel Systems Analysis Activity. Install 6 each 2: new corrosion resistant zinc galvanized poles powder coated (color to be selected by purchaser). Footers will be 2 x 10 cement. 2. Building 367: Front entrance, middle portion of building. Fabricate new corrosion resistant zinc galvanized frame (18 x 6x 3). Frame will be powder coated (color to be selected by purchaser) and covered with canvas cover (brown). Provide right and left side lettering (approx 6 high) U.S. Army Materiel Systems Analysis Activity. Install logos (graphics example to be provided by purchaser) on front of awning. Install 4 each 2 new corrosion resistant zinc galvanized poles powder coated (color to be selected by purchaser). Footers will be 2 x 10 cemented. 3. Building 392: Front entrance and middle portion of building. Fabricate new corrosion resistant zinc galvanized frame (26 x 9x 4). Frame will be powder coated (color to be selected by purchaser) and covered with canvas cover (brown). Provide right and left side lettering (approx 6 high) U.S. Army Materiel Systems Analysis Activity. Install logos (graphics example to be provided by purchaser) on front of awning. Install 6 each 2 new corrosion resistant zinc galvanized poles powder coated (color to be selected by purchaser). Footers will be 2 x 10: cement. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: DISPOSAL OF OLD AWNING INCLUDED IN COST. WORK TO BE COMPLETED DURING REGULAR WORK HOURS, MON-FRI, 8:00 AM TO 4:00 PM. WORK WILL START 1-2 WEEKS FROM THE TIME VENDOR RECEIVES AWARD AND WILL BE COMPLETED 6 TO 8 WEEKS LATER, WEATHER PERMITTING. RECOMMEND SITE VISIT: Tuesday, 27 July 2010: 10:30 a.m. at Bldg 328 Main ARL Building. Shipping shall be FOB Destination to Aberdeen Proving Ground, 21005. The technical evaluation will be a determination based on information furnished by the vendor.
