- Description
- It is the intent of the Directorate of Contracting, White Sands Missile Range, NM. To solicit and award a sole source contract to Waters Corporation, 34 Maple Street, Milford, MA 01757, for the renewal of service plan agreement for maintenance of Waters Model 2696 HPLC Chromatography system and software upgrade. The HPLC Chromatography system and software are only manufactured, developed, and maintained by Waters Corporation, who has proprietary rights. Other than full and open competition will be used under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(d) (2), titled, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This requirement is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, Federal Supply Class if 6640 NAICS is 334516. Interested firms may submit their capabilities and qualification to the identified point of contact not later than 22 July 2010, 1:00 PM local time. Such capabilities and qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. This is not a request for quotes, and this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
