- The purpose of this contract is to fund and employ a Program Manager based in Washington, DC to support LAC/NPI’s programs in Venezuela. The position will reside in the Office of Non-Presence Initiatives and will report to the Office Director of LAC/NPI. The incumbent of this position has responsibility as a Program Manager to support the design, implementation, and management of program activities in Venezuela. The purpose of this contract is to fund and employ a Program Manager based in Washington, DC to support LAC/NPI's programs in Venezuela. The position will reside in the Office of Non-Presence Initiatives and will report to the Office Director of LAC/NPI. The incumbent of this position has responsibility as a Program Manager to support the design, implementation, and management of program activities in Venezuela. The expertise provided by the incumbent will play a major role in Agency and Bureau analysis and identification of the key economic, political, and social problems in Venezuela. His/her findings and recommendations, developed in conjunction with the Country Representative, shall be vetted with senior Agency and Bureau management in briefings and reviews. This input will help to define what is appropriate for USAID's attention including strategic and project approaches. S/he will work closely with the Country Representative to support the design, implementation, and management of USAID's programs.
