Description
Work to be performed at Alcova Powerplant includes the following: 1. Remove existing fire water systems, cooling water systems, service water systems, unwatering systems, and geothermal heating systems; 2. Furnish materials and install new plant water, drain, and geothermal piping systems. Alcova Powerplant is approximately 20 miles Southwest of Casper, Wyoming in Natrona County. Work to be performed at Boysen Powerplant includes the following: 1. Remove existing plant fire water systems, cooling water systems, service water systems, and penstock unwatering piping. 2. Furnish materials and install new plant water and drain piping systems. Boysen Powerplant is approximately 20 miles South of Thermopolis, Wyoming in Fremont County. The bid opening date is tentatively scheduled for September 16, 2010 at the Bureau of Reclamation's Great Plains Regional Office, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana. The solicitation will be posted at www.fbo.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or after August 16, 2010. The bid opening will be scheduled at least 30 days from the date the solicitation is actually issued. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The estimated price range of this acquisition is $500,000 to $1,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 237990. The small business size standard is $33.5 Million. This acquisition is unrestricted. Note 1: Effective October 1, 2003, any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Contractors may register at http://www/ccr/gov Note 2: Effective January 1, 2005, any contractor submitting a quotation, offer or proposal to the Government must complete their Representations and Certifications online.
