- The purpose of this notice is to announce that the Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) San Diego, will be issuing a solicitation to accomplish the nonskid requirement for the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) 23 and 74. This will be a Small Business Set-aside. Work is to be accomplished at Camp Pendleton, CA, ACU-5. The anticipated period of performance for simultaneous work of both LCACs is 15 Sept 2010 through 29 Sept 2010. Only businesses designated as small under NAICS code 336611- Ship Building and Repair- will be eligible for award. Work is to be performed in accordance with the requirements contained in NAVSEA Standard Item 009-32, Cleaning and Painting Requirements; accomplish. Company certification to The Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC) QP-1 and current good standing with SSPC QP-1 requirements is required to perform the work contained in the upcoming solicitation and can be found online at http://www.sspc.org/standards.
